Zero Tolerance on Misconduct

Following an increase in complaints from our subscribers and an increase in misuse of Internet access by some users, Vancouver Internet has instituted a zero-tolerance policy on the following practices:

1. E-mail or Usenet Spam
Multiple, unsolicited e-mail messages or multiple cross-posts to Usenet newsgroups or off-topic posts.

2. Hacking Of Any Nature
Hacking is defined as any attempt to compromise the security of a system on the Internet.

Reports of the above actions will be traced by our Network Administrators, and the originating account immediately suspended.

This policy complements the Terms and Conditions of Service. that apply to all Vancouver Internet accounts.

If you have any questions about whether your intended use of the Internet contravenes any of these usage guidelines please call our Customer Service representatives or email the WebMaster.

RULES
The following are considered to be a breach of user contract:

NO spamming will be permitted, e.g. unsolicitated email or newsgroup postings. NO multiple logins, e.g. logging in simultaneously from your home and office. NO account sharing, e.g. letting friends use your account and password.

The Management of the Company reserves the right at its discretion to deny access at any time to users who breach the above rules or cause other abuses which Management in its discretion deems disruptive to the rest of our customers.
